ACTIVE LIVING, GENERAL MEETING, OUR VETERANS

Cape Breton Island Hoppers are "Active Living" people, of all abilities and all ages, who enjoy walking in our neighbour hoods, exploring the many walking trails, and other communities of our Island, join us for the:

Annual General Meeting Saturday, 9 November @3:30 pm - McConnell Library, Sydney
The Membership Chairperson Carmel Coffin will be available to collect Annual Membership fee.
We continue to hold our fees at a very reasonable cost of $15.00/year/person

The 2014 Walk Schedule will be available at the meeting and shortly thereafter it will be published on our website.
New volunteers with new ideas are needed each year to ensure the survival of our organization.
The walk committee needs you to help organize walk events, selects new trails, develop a more diverse schedule of walks; we also need you to organize the Start Points Registration area before and after the walk - Bring some new ideas to the meeting and then help implement those plans for the following years.
We are going into our 17th year, now lets get planning for another 17 and beyond...

Note: The Canadian Volkssport Federation Winter Walking Program is in effect, please see the club president Elsie Buck for the finer details on this Active Living Program.
