This is a general message to all  Island Hoppers.
Pre -Walked trail at St Peter's and all systems are go. The trail was a bit damp in one or two areas but we did walk after a rain. There are no large puddles , but bring a second pair of shoes as reservations were made at the Cozy Corner restaurant for those of you who wish to have supper after the walk. Address is 9985 Grenville St , St Peter's. Your pre walkers pre ate at this eating establishment . Food is good , pub style ,reasonable prices and licensed . Happy trails everybody and see you on Sunday.

OLD TOWN LOUISBOURG TRAIL 18 MAY

GUIDED WALK EVENT  IN " OLD TOWN"

WALK HAS BEEN COMPLETED! SEE PHOTO GALLERY AND FACEBOOK FOR COMMENTS AND PICTURES!

There seems to be some confusion about our next Walk Event Start Point, hopefully I can clear this up.

Direction to the trail head in "Old Town Louisbourg":
Drive out to Louisbourg on Hwy 22
Continue along Main St. Louisbourg to Pecks Store and then turn LEFT on Wolfe Street going towards and passed the Fortress Main Entrance Visitors Centre and continue straight to our new Start Point.

(A CBIH WALK SIGN WILL BE POSTED AT OR NEAR THE TOWN FOUNTAIN LOCATED IN FRONT OF PECK'S STORE)

Note that Wolfe Street and Kennington Cove Road merge together as Kennington Cove Road at or near the Main Entrance parking lot area.
Continue passed the Royal Battery (another one of our former Start Points),  about another 400m, and the parking lot for our walk event is on the RIGHT side of the road.

For those who can open Google Map Views, here is the website or view of the area:
