WALK EVENTS - ANNUAL MEETING - Plus Sharing Space

PIPER'S GLEN TRAIL -

Being  a member and guest of the Island Hoppers will ensure you get too see many wonderful places on our island that many other Capers may never experience!

The weather and fall colours along the Piper's Glen Trail on Sunday 20 October proved to be a great day for a walk in the forest in the Scotsville area of the island.
More pictures can be seen in our photo gallery area:

Our walk events in November will bring us closer to the CB Regional area in Coxheath and Sydney:

PIPERS GLEN GUIDED WALK - ACTIVE LIVING EXPO - COYOTES

(1.) WALK EVENT:

Clarification on The Guided Walk Event for 20 October; this should have been advertised as Pipers Glen Trail, experience has shown over the years that the trail down to Egypt Falls is not for everyone especially if the weather changes to rain!! BUT don't be scared off, the walk along the Pipers Glen Trail is very enjoyable especially with the fall colours!

The trail down to Egypt Falls is very steep and we suggest you take in the waterfalls one hour before the walk event or after the Guided Walk Event!! weather conditions may also be a factor in visiting the falls

Trail: Pipers Glen/Egypt Falls area

Directions to Start Point: From Hwy 105 take Exit 5, in Whycocomagh near Vi Restaurant, continue north on Rte 252 and then Rte 395 beyond Scottsville to Egypt Road/Pipers Glen Road. CBIH signs will be posted near the intersection to the Start Point.

Start Point: located at the trail-head going into Egypt Falls.

NOTE: The Guided Walk Event will be along the Pipers Glen Rd/Trail through old forest and abandoned  farm areas.

Sunday, Oct 20

Registration: 1:30pm

Walk Time: 2:00pm
