WE SAVED ONE OF THE BEST FOR THE LAST OF THE SEASON

CAPE BRETON ISLAND HOPPERS VOLKSSPORT CLUB
Take over the Baille Ard Trail, Sydney CBRM

SUNDAY 23 NOVEMBER 2008

The Day started out cold and windy but the sun continued to shine for the Cape Breton Island Hoppers on our last walk event for the 2008 Season!

The Baille Ard Trails location in Sydney makes for an ideal end of the season walk with its meandering footpaths through woods and along, at this time of year, fast flowing brook.

Dave Gabriel and his group of volunteers must be commended for their work on this wonderful nature park. The many footbridges, the brook cleaning and all the park benches and clearing of trails has been done strictly with volunteers.

Dave and the Baille Ard Society are planning a healthy walk program for seniors using the park as their walking trail and are now seeking walk leaders or guides, if you are interested in participating as a volunteer contact Joe and Elsie for further details.
