There is a barbecue taking place in Framboise on 24 July from 11am to 2pm at the Framboise Community Hall.
Walkers may wish to go out early to enjoy a hotdog or hamburger before our scheduled walk.
The Volunteer Fire Department,who are sponsoring the event, would appreciate our support.

Directions to Start Point:
From Sydney take Hwy 327 to Marion Bridge area and continue passed Gabarus on the scenic Fleur - de - Lis Trail/Hwy and on to the Community of Framboise. Crooked Lake Road is located on the East side (left) of the Hwy a short distance from the single lane Bailey Bridge.
This is the time to car-pool with friends!
Description of trail:
The road/trail will pass by cottages,farms, along Crooked Lake, and down to the beach at English Cove. We will be able to explore a pioneer cemetery. Also in this area you will note a coastal trail going south towards Capelin Cove and beyond.
