The Annual Shirley Boutilier Memorial Walk Event

This years walk event will take place at Devils Hill and Waterfalls located on the New Boston Road, Catalone

Start Point: 20 New Boston Road, Recreation Centre parking lot

Date: Sunday, 25 September 2016

Registration: 1:30pm

Walk Time: 2:00pm

Walking Distances: 5k and 10k

Walk Leader/guide: Shirley Pettigrew


Directions to Start Point:

From Hwy 125 take Exit 8 to Rte. 22, Louisbourg Hwy, and continue to Catalone,  turn right at the second exit to New Boston Road. The Start Point is the Catalone Recreation Centre, 20 New Boston Road.

SHIRLEY BOUTILIER MEMORIAL WALK

SUNDAY 07 SEPTEMBER 2014
REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 1:30pm
WALK STARTS AT: 2:00pm

LOCATION: BENGAL ROAD MIRA

DIRECTIONS TO START POINT:

From Sydney follow Hwy 327 and continue to Marion Bridge, turn left on to Trout Brook Rd., this is the first and immediate left after Marion Bridge and continue on Trout Brook Road to Bengal Road located on the right (south) immediately after a small one-way bridge.

The Start Point is located along Bengal Road, approximately 1.5 km from the intersection of Bengal and Trout Brook Roads. The walk route will take us along an old fire road towards the fire tower and return (5k). The 10k walkers will then continue south along Bengal Road turning around at a blueberry farming area.

The other driving option from Sydney: Follow Hwy 22 towards Louisbourg, crossing over Albert Bridge then right on Trout Brook Road (At Mullins Rite Stop) until you reach Bengal Road on your left.
